Fr. John Kartje: “Called, Formed, and Sent”

LANE is excited to welcome Fr. John Kartje, the President of Mundelein Seminary. His talk, titled "Called, Formed, and Sent," will show how we can all become missionary disciples in the New Evangelization. A reception will follow the talk. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
In addition to being President of Mundelein Seminary, Fr. Kartje is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biblical Studies and Homiletics, the author of Wisdom Epistemology in the Psalter: A Study of Psalms 1, 73, 90, and 107, a member of the Catholic Biblical Association, and a contributor to Chicago Studies. Fr. Kartje has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Chicago, an M.Div./S.T.B. from the University of St. Mary of the Lake, and an S.T.L./S.T.D. in Biblical Theology from the Catholic University of America. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2002, and has experience as a parish priest.
