Being Catholic: A Call to Mission
LANE is presenting a special course on missions and evangelization. Some people get Baptized and Confirmed, but their relationship with the Church doesn’t go much beyond that. Some go through the motions but don’t really believe, while some believe but don’t act on their belief. And some make Christ the center of their hearts and lives. How can we go “higher up and deeper into” Christ’s Kingdom, and what can we do as individuals and parishes to help bring along our family, friends, and neighbors?
Greg Smith, a convert himself, has worked in missions and evangelization for nearly forty years, around the U.S. and overseas. He is the Dean of LANE and host of the Considering Catholicism podcast. In this course, Greg will share biblical principles and insights of the saints for cultivating a Catholic faith that is more courageous and contagious.
