Defending Religion

Course 1 in the Defending Your Faith in a Culture of Unbelief Series

For 2,000 years, Christianity operated within a broadly religious worldview. It encountered adherents of other religions, but practically no one questioned the existence of the supernatural, the afterlife, and gods that required a religious dimension to human life and culture. Christianity overcame these other religions by preaching the Gospel. But today, we face a post-religious world in which religion is seen as useless and foolish. How can we share, explain, and defend our faith when the very idea of faith has been abandoned?
